Jimena and Norman visit Dr. Berthold Hedwig’s lab at Cambridge University in the UK to learn intracellular neurophysiology techniques to record from the auditory system of Ormia ochracea. During this trip, they successfully recording from a handful of auditory interneurons in the thoracic ganglion of Ormia ochracea

Congratulations to Aaron Wikle for successfully defending his M.Sc. thesis. For his thesis work, Aaron conducted laboratory experiments (Ormia ochracea behavior and neurophysiology work) at the Lee Lab. Norman also served as Aaron’s external committee member.
